My Daughter in Law’s Bridal Shower!

Celebrating my daughter in law becoming a bride was such a special time. The night before the bridal shower I had a lot of decorating to do, and I called in the calvary to help! We all had so much fun decorating and preparing. I had this idea to do a beautiful ballon arch, and other balloon decorations. I set up an area for my daughter in law to take pictures with all her guests. and if you know me, I had to have a beautiful table scape complete with bouquets of fresh flowers.

Friends and family joined us here, and we even had some guests from out of town. We had a sort of girls only brunch, equip with all the essential brunch foods – and maybe some non essential ones. My daughter in law loves everything mini so we had mini pancakes, mini sausage, mini croissants, and mini desserts. She was over the moon about the idea of the mini foods, and even more in love with it when she got to eat it! And what brunch would be complete without mimosas?! The mimosa bar was a hit! We had the base for the mimosas, and then people could add whatever fruits they wanted to it. For this event, I did oranges and strawberries.  We laughed, took pictures, played games, and just had some fun girl time.

I feel like taking the time to celebrate the bride before the wedding is so important. There is so much stress before a wedding and to have that time to cut loose, have fun, and just enjoy yourself is crucial! And aside from ALL of that, what bride doesn’t need a few gifts to start off this new journey in life? My advice is to stop and enjoy these moments because before you know it they are over and done with. Take lots of pictures to remember it all, pictures really help to just re-live it all.

Making people feel special is something I love to do. We all love to feel special and appreciated. With every event I do I try to put my all into it. I always want whatever it is to be great, I don’t expect perfection but I love events to be enjoyable and the best I can make it.
